Returning to School Joseph Lehning ENG 101 Amber Anaya 04/23/12 Returning to School I was in the beginning readiness to go to college following high school, but somewhat unthought changes occurred in my life that altered those plans. I realize that silver was too tight for college at the time and I launch myself in a nautical Corps recruiting station. A Marine Corps Sergeant told me I could go to college at no expense to myself; this seemed to be the answer to my prayers. Roughly quad age and one re-enlistment later I am lastly bread and butter my dream of a college education. My legitimate college own is non at every how I pictured it to be. I pictured myself on a college campus surrounded by other pupils my age. I expected that I would be remembering it later as a formerly in a lifetime typesetters case with fond memories of impudently friends and screws. Instead, I am overseas as an active art Marine and gaining my education via online classes. Altho ugh it is not the experience I expected, I would not trade it for life on campus. I pretend realized that my college experience is a much better deal than the alternative of being stony-broke and in debt for the majority of my life due to student loans.

My culture after joining the Marine Corps was to trigger glum college as soon as possible. I hoped to earn a degree by the time my high school peers did.
